Came in with like 20 minutes before my train and they totally got it. Food was out before I even settled in. Just a simple pasta but it hit the spot. Place is a bit cramped though, not somewhere you'd linger. Fine for what it was.

The chicken biryani had really good flavor and the portion was generous. Daal was solid too. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. I appreciated that I didn't have to wait long. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but it was fine for a casual meal.

The baked potatoes here are always solid. I had the vegan one and the filling was really generous, lots of flavor. Staff let me sit and take my time, which I appreciated. Place was a bit busy but they didn't rush me. Good spot if you just want a simple, decent meal without any fuss.

The steak came out more well-done than I asked, but the flavor was still really good. The wine pairing was lovely though. Staff handled the mix-up calmly.

The habanero tacos are seriously spicy, in the best way. Had to order a drink to cool down, but totally worth it.

The pizza was big and properly baked, toppings tasted fresh. I liked watching the open kitchen, everything made to order. Price felt fair for what you get. Maybe not the most mind-blowing pizza in town, but solid enough for a casual dinner. The place had a decent buzz to it, nothing fancy though.

Sushi selection’s gotten better lately. They added a few fish types you don’t usually see at buffets. Quality’s clearly improved since a few months back. Solid spot for a quick lunch if you’re nearby.

The duck is a must-try, the burger's really good too. Service was on point the whole time, no complaints there. Place gets busy but the staff kept it smooth. I'd go back just for that duck again.

Been coming here for a while now. Sushi's always fresh, rice is seasoned just right. Portions are generous too, which I appreciate. Not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for. Solid choice if you want a dependable meal without any surprises.

Stopped by for fish and chips and honestly the batter was spot on—crispy, not greasy. Staff helped me pick a local beer to go with it, which I appreciated since I know nothing about Swedish brews. Place has that proper old pub feel, pretty quiet for a weekday. Would pop back if I'm in the area again.

Small place, but the service was on point. Got the grilled salmon and it came out juicy, not overcooked like most spots. Staff checked in once, not too pushy. Only thing is the tables are a bit close together, you hear the next table's convo. Fine for a quick dinner though.

Stylish little place by the main square, coffee was solid. Good for a quick stop if you're wandering around.

Mushroom toast was the real winner here. Portions are on the smaller side though, so don't come starving. Staff managed our big group without any chaos.

Cozy spot in Hässleholm, food was solid again. Their wine list is small but decent—the Malbec paired nicely with the steak. Service a bit slow, but worth it.

The panna cotta really stood out—best I’ve had in a long while. Pinsa with parma was solid too, nice crispy base. Place feels elegant but still relaxed. Only thing, lighting felt a bit bright for my taste, could’ve been dimmer for the vibe. Still, I’d come back for that dessert alone.

We stopped by for lunch and I was impressed by how comfortable the seating was. The onion soup hit the spot on a chilly day. Staff knew their wines well and helped me pick something that worked. The vintage decor gives it a nice cozy feel. Only thing is it got a bit busy around noon, but that's expected.

The lunch buffet here is solid for the price. Got there around 11:45 and beat the crowd. Fresh stuff, and they actually label the vegan options which helps. Portion-wise you can go back as much as you want, so it's worth it if you're hungry. Just don't show up late, the line gets crazy fast.

Decent breakfast buffet for 75 SEK, bread was good. Coffee refills free, which helps. Place felt cozy, staff friendly enough.

Perrongen is a must-visit if you're traveling through Markaryd; the food is delicious and the service is top-notch!

The lunch buffet at 119 SEK is solid—sushi and wok noodles with that nice smoky char. They keep refilling everything, and the soft drinks, ice cream, and coffee are included. A decent glass of wine would've made it even better, though.

The salmon bowl was fresh, really nice quality fish. But the coffee cups are so tiny, like two sips and done. Portions feel smaller than a few years back, prices went up though. Staff seemed more into chatting with each other than taking orders, but the food itself was decent.
