The rooftop area worked well for our group of 13. Food came out on time, no chaos. Solid spot if you're with a bigger crowd.

The pasta here is really something else. I had the Liebhaber linguini and it was full of flavor, exactly what I needed after a long day. The orange mango lemonade on the side was refreshing too. Seats were comfortable, which I always appreciate. Service was friendly without hovering. Just a solid, easy meal. Maybe a bit busy around noon, but nothing that bothered me much.

The bowls are fresh and tasty, service was friendly too. Just a heads up—water isn't free, they charge a little for the self-serve station.

Stopped here during a road trip. Owner talked us through parking on the phone, which saved time. Food was solid, plenty of vegan options. Fair for the price.

The cocktails were solid, but the food didn’t quite match the vibe. Nice spot upstairs though, just a bit loud when it’s packed.

The tagliatelle with chanterelles and salsiccia was really good—pasta cooked just right. Service stayed attentive but never hovered. Would've liked a bit more sauce, but overall a solid dinner.

Stopped by for dinner, got the Maultaschen and a house beer. The dumplings were hearty, exactly what you want on a cold evening. Place has that proper rustic feel, wooden tables, low light. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Only thing, it got a bit busy later and the noise picked up. But the food made up for it. Solid spot if you're after honest Swabian cooking.

Sunday lunch was really nice. The buffet had a good selection of local stuff, and the roast pork with crackling was done just right. Staff were friendly, made us feel looked after. Only thing, it got a bit busy and loud by the time we finished. Still, a solid spot for a relaxed meal.

Nice little spot in Aalen's old town. Had the Dalmatian plate—decent, though clearly toned down for local palates. Good intro if you're new to Balkan food. Outdoor seating was a plus.

The porcini tagliatelle really stood out – you can tell the pasta is fresh. Lasagna was classic and hearty too. Solid menu with plenty to pick from.

Sat outside with a beer, sun was out. View is decent, chill spot to just sit and watch people walk by. Not fancy, but does the job. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but you're paying for the location.

The falafel was so good – crispy outside and really well spiced. The Moroccan tea is a solid pick too. Great spot to hang out with friends for a casual bite. 👍

Big portions and the price felt fair for what you got. Staff handled our big group pretty well. Place gets loud though, so don't expect a quiet dinner.

The running sushi here keeps things moving—plates come by constantly, so you never wait long. I liked that there was a good mix of options, even some things I hadn’t tried before. Staff were friendly enough, but the place gets loud when it fills up. Fine for a quick bite, just not somewhere to linger.

Nice little tavern right off the main square. The beer was fresh and the staff actually took time to recommend something. Gets pretty loud when it fills up, but the vibe stays relaxed enough.

Service was honestly the highlight for me. Our waiter checked in just enough, not too much. Food came fast too, which was nice since we were all starving. We grabbed some finger food to share and it hit the spot. Good spot for a casual hangout with friends. Maybe a bit busy but whatever 😊

The grilled calamari was the highlight. Really fresh, tender, not rubbery at all. The vaulted cellar is a nice touch, but honestly I was there for the food. Would order that dish again. Maybe a bit more seasoning on the side, but the squid itself carried it. Good spot if you want straightforward seafood done right.

The grilled octopus was spot on. Tender, smoky, decent portion for the price. Terrace seating is a plus but honestly I'd come back just for that dish.

The steak here was genuinely good. Cooked exactly how I asked, decent seasoning, proper meat flavor. One of the better ones I've had in Aalen. Portion was big enough that I didn't need anything else after. Prices are fair for what you get. Didn't pay much attention to the decor or staff, but the food did the job.

The landlady’s a real character—blunt, a bit rustic, but she runs the place with personality. We showed up with a discount voucher, no reservation, and still got treated fine. Food was solid, proper Swabian stuff. Nothing fancy, but honest. The kind of place that doesn’t try too hard. Liked that.

Cozy leather chairs, proper steakhouse feel. Been coming here for a while and that vibe never changes. Solid spot to just sit back and relax.

The hazelnut cake was the standout. Dense, nutty, not too sweet. Classic spot, been there for years. Worth stopping in for a slice.

The pizza was solid, but the wait tested my patience a bit. Outdoor seating's a nice touch though. A glass of their house red would've paired well with the margherita.

The place was packed when we got there, but that energy kinda worked. We ordered the mixed grill and honestly the portions are massive. Couldn't finish it all. Staff were friendly enough despite the chaos. Just make sure you reserve a table beforehand, otherwise you'll wait forever.

The burgers were decent and the fries came out hot. We used the 2-for-1 voucher, no issues at all. Portion size is fair for what you pay. Place was busy but we didn't wait long. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Good coffee and cake, prime people-watching spot. Ordering at the counter is a bit of a hassle though.
