Staff was friendly yet professional. Knowledgeable and advised very well on food and wines. It is extremely well placed with a view to the square and even of it was raining, the doors to the varanda could still be open and enjoying the fresh smell of rain

The food was exceptional, I could say that here I was served with the best steak I have ever eaten. The staff was friendly but a bit overwhelmed, the waiting times are very long, whether I wanted to order or pay. The location is nice and clean, there is also a terrace. The prices are high but the quality is also worth it. If I end up in Catania again I will definitely pay them a visit.

Our server/host/owner was delightful and entertaining. The restaurant is quiet enough to have a conversation even when many tables are full. He introduced to a lovely local gin.

The location, service, and food is top notch. They truly go out of their way to please you. We ordered the steak, the millefoglie of eggplant and grilled vegetable's. All were beautifully presented and delicious. We had a glass of Nero d’avola and Grillo which complemented both entree’s. We had a martini and their house special spritz which were made very well and attractive to boot! The interior of the restaurant is an interesting space with a soft green palate. I would have preferred having dinner outside, in the giardino, but they don't serve dinner outside; just cocktails. I heartily recommend and will eat here again when in Palermo

One of the best meals we had in Palermo. The tartare was very nicely done and presented. The paccheri was a stunner…..and the pinse tuna was stupendous. The service was both pleasant and professional. Overall a great experience and one which we will repeat. Thank you .

Gagini Social Restaurant, with a simple menu, a more casual dining atmosphere and relatively cheap prices, is a restaurant that focuses on modern seafood cuisine combined with natural wine. - aja mola plateau: seafood raw platter. The red shrimps are sweet, but I can't get used to the larger mazzancolle shrimps, which are too big and have a strong raw shrimp taste. In the end, I swallowed them with wine. The oysters come from northern France, and they are not very juicy, but they have a lot of salty and sweet taste. If you like raw seafood, you can order a special plateau, which also has lobsters and shellfish, which are more affordable. - fried mussels and sea asparagus: fried mussels, crispy batter wrapped with tender mussels, are very good side dishes. It was my first time to eat sea scorpion, and the fried fragrance matched the salty and fresh taste of sea scorpion. - Pasta of the day: It happened that there were fresh porcini that day, and the chef said that he could cook porcini and shrimp pasta. Take a bite of the rolled pasta, and your mouth is filled with the rich aroma of porcini and the freshness of shrimp meat. It is delicious. The slightly thicker long pasta is used, which has a more chewy texture. - aja mola fish soup: The rich tomato-flavored soup is soaked with various seafood, whether it is fish pieces, shrimp meat, mussels or clams, they are all tender. It is sour, sweet and fresh, and very tasty. However, for me, after drinking too much soup, I still feel that it is a little salty, but Hu Zi thinks it is just right. It depends on the individual's heavy taste. - gela di anguria: Watermelon jelly with basil leaves and white chocolate sauce is a refreshing dessert that is not sweet. - polpo al carbone: Well, I feel that there is still room in my stomach, so I ordered another grilled octopus. The overall seasoning is ok, but some of the octopus meat is too chewy, and my cheeks are tired from eating it. It is paired with a bottle of natural wine, which is not expensive at 18 euros per bottle. The price is 40-50 Euros per person excluding drinks.
