This type guild restaurant: Zum Stephan lived up to all expectations. the food was superb, and special. It was very amazing !!! The service amazing. A special experience.

Cozy downstairs area, really liked the vibe. Food was tasty and prices felt fair for what you get. Solid spot for a relaxed lunch.

Sitting outside in the garden on a warm evening was the best part. Had a glass of wine and the pasta—solid, well-prepared Italian classics. Service was efficient, no fuss. Prices fair for the quality. Would come back if in the area again.

Stopped here for a glass of red wine and sat on the terrace watching people pass by in the old town. Staff were friendly enough, no complaints. Wine was fine, though the glass felt a bit small for what they charged. Nice spot if you just want a quick break, but don't expect huge pours.

Nice little bar. Aperitif platter was solid, plenty of food for two. Interior's got that cozy vibe, not too loud. Good spot to just sit and have a drink.

The strawberry pie with Chantilly cream was really good, and the coffee hit the spot. Elza helped us with the English menu, which was nice. Cozy little place inside a beautiful old building.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and ordered the pad thai. Flavors were proper, not toned down for tourists. Staff let me take my time with the menu. Place is small but fine for a casual bite. Price felt fair for what you get. Solid spot if you’re in Solothurn and craving real Thai.

We stopped in for the absinthe tasting pack—four different ones, which was a nice way to compare. The bar is small and cozy, and the guy serving us was patient with all our questions. Seats were comfortable too, which always matters to me. Only thing is it got a bit loud later on, but we were done by then.

Proper Irish pub right by the river, perfect for grabbing a pint and catching the game. Staff were friendly and quick even when it got busy. Would come back with friends for sure 👍

The venison with celery and sauerkraut was the highlight—tender, well-balanced. Menu changes with the seasons, which keeps things interesting. Not cheap, but the quality holds up.

Great pizza, no question. Place gets loud when it's packed, but that's part of the charm I guess. Service was friendly and quick. I had a nice glass of red with my pie, worked well with the smoky crust. Solid casual spot, I'd come back if I'm in the area.

The river view is nice but honestly I only care about what’s on the plate. Had the grilled perch fillet—skin crisp, flesh flaky, butter sauce actually tasted of lemon instead of just being greasy. Portion was decent for the price. Would’ve liked more salt on the veggies though. That’s it.

Great spot for a quick bite. Had the orange pie, really good. They even threw in a small treat at the end. Service was fast, got me back to work in no time.

Came here on a busy Friday night and honestly, the portion sizes are what got me. Ordered the mixed grill and it was plenty for two, maybe even three. Price felt fair for what you get, especially compared to other spots around. Service was a bit slow because it was packed, but the food made up for it.

The pizza here is fantastic—thin, airy crust and generous toppings. It's a busy spot, so expect a lively atmosphere, but the quality makes it worth it.

Had our Christmas dinner here. Food was solid, service quick even though it was packed. Sarah took good care of us. Rustic spot, no complaints. 👍

The fried wontons and crispy beef were solid—that beef had a nice crunch without being greasy. Portions are huge, easily enough for two people. Price felt fair for what you get.

Finally, proper Italian gelato in Solothurn! You can really taste the quality in every scoop. Hidden gem for sure.

Lunch menu’s a steal for what you get. Probably the best value in Solothurn. Staff were friendly too.

Green curry and fried rice are my usual order here. Portions are solid, ingredients taste fresh. Staff recognized me after a couple visits, which I appreciate. Gets pretty packed on weekends though, so I'd book a table if you're coming then. Decent spot for a quick dinner without fuss.

The pizzas here are huge and paper-thin, exactly how I like them. Service was efficient and let us eat at our own pace. Solid spot for a casual Italian meal.

Came here on a warm evening and grabbed a spot in the lounge area. The music was just right, not too loud. Food was tasty, drinks were good. Staff friendly too. Only thing is the seating felt a bit cramped after a while. Still, nice place to unwind. 🌿

Came during the film festival, no reservation, still got a table. Pizza was solid. Service friendly enough.

The bread alone is worth coming here for. Warm, fresh, and they keep bringing more without asking. Place is tiny though, like maybe six tables, and the decor has this handmade feel that I really liked. Had the grilled octopus and it was properly charred. Service was friendly but a bit slow since it got busy. Still, that bread though.

Service was friendly and multilingual, made ordering easy. Place felt authentic and welcoming. Decent spot for a casual meal.

The terrace is huge and right in the middle of everything. Staff were young, friendly, didn't feel rushed. It's mostly self-service though, so you wait a bit if you want table service. Fine for a casual stop, just don't come expecting anything fancy.

Decent Thai spot. Had the whole fish with chili, pretty close to what I remember from Bangkok. Staff were friendly enough. Place gets a bit loud later in the evening, but food came out quick. Fine for a casual weeknight when you're craving something spicy.
