Roter Bären

Dustin, our server, was very knowledgeable about the menu. The whole staff and the food was superb. Our favorite dishes were the Pasta (Lamb/Beef) and Pappardelle with White Truffle. We repeated them!

Been going to Roter Baren for many years, this time I wanted everything on the menu! Slightly disappointed with the cheese plate, as it wasn't the usual variety of cheese, but still tasted good.

We loved this dining concept. Leave it to the chef and enjoy his creativity. Great food. Great ambience. Definitely coming back when I'm next in Basel!

Spectacular dining experience. Nothing to complain about. We had a 3 course menu and every dish was unique, flavorful, and beautiful. Don’t miss the fantastic cocktail list.

It was our first time here (I’m from the US), and I found out about the restaurant just searching online. We had an international group of people and every single one of us loved everything we had. They made the birthday of our friend super special and the food and drinks were fantastic!!
