The burger here is decent — pretty good quality meat, cooked properly. I’ve had worse in Prague, that’s for sure. Place was a bit busy when I came, but the food came out fine. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Probably the best burger I’ve had around here in a while.

The beef was properly tender, though some potatoes came out a bit dry. Good thing they have Fenek on tap — that saved it for me. 🍺

The raw cheesecake was the reason I came back. Dense, creamy, not too sweet, and the crust actually held together. Tried the savory strudel too, decent but the dessert is the star. Place is small and gets busy, but I only care about what’s on the plate. Worth the walk through the quarter.

The ribs were the highlight, honestly. Big portion, and the fried fish nuggets were a solid second. I was a bit worried about the price when I saw the menu, but the amount of food you get makes it fair. Staff were friendly enough, no complaints there. Just wish I had room for dessert.

Great coffee and the place feels super chill. My partner got the carrot cake and it was really good. They even put a cute ribbon on the glass for him. Nice spot to hang out with friends.

The daily menu had more than just the usual fried stuff, which was nice. I sat in the courtyard, pretty quiet even at noon. Service was attentive without hovering. Got the pork knee, crispy skin, meat fell off the bone. Only thing, they forgot the mustard until I asked twice. Still, a solid lunch spot if you want a break from the tourist crowds.

The staff made us a special breakfast even though they usually only do buffet. Coffee was good, food tasty. Really appreciated that extra touch.

The duck with cabbage and dumplings was the highlight for me. Garlic soup had a bit of an unusual twist, but it worked. Would come back for that duck.

Stopped by just for coffee—oat milk was a plus. Service was quick, and the seating by the water was pretty comfortable. Nice little break.

The pork gnocchi was properly tender, that's the dish to get. Salmon salad works if you want something lighter. Menu hasn't changed in years, so you know exactly what you're getting.

We got there pretty late, almost closing time, and they still let us have the full three-course meal. That was really nice of them. Service was quick and friendly, no rushing us at all. Bill was fair for what we had. Just a solid, easy dinner.

The mushroom risotto was really good, and the staff left us alone long enough to enjoy it. Cozy spot, though the tables are a bit close together.

The roasted bread with beetroot topping was really good, and the pancakes were tasty too. Service was friendly, though the coffee didn't quite match the food.

The svíčková was solid and a glass of local red paired nicely. Service lagged a bit, but lunch felt unhurried.

The sirloin was cooked exactly how I asked, really solid piece of meat. Manager sorted our booking without any fuss. Desserts were decent too, though the place got a bit loud later on.

Solid local pub in Nové Město. Beer was good, staff attentive. Fried cheese and potato croquettes hit the spot. Decent spot for a casual evening.

We've been coming here every year for six years now. Food's honest Czech cooking, nothing fancy but always tasty. Owner and staff are friendly folks. Never had a bad meal.

Stopped by for lunch while wandering around Jihlava center. Got the beef with dill sauce from the daily menu — pretty solid, classic Czech comfort food. Portion was decent for the price. Service was quick, no complaints there. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

We popped in a few times while staying nearby. Service was quick and friendly, food was solid. The seating area felt a bit cramped though, not the most comfortable for a long sit.

Stumbled in without expectations and honestly left pretty impressed. The staff was nice, and the food came out quick. I really liked the seating area by the window, felt spacious enough to just relax. Prices were fair for what you get. Not a mind-blowing spot, but solid.

The seasonal menu is doing something right. I had the venison and it was cooked perfectly, really tender. Mr. Jiří was super professional too, even when the kitchen messed up one of our dishes. He handled it so smoothly we barely noticed the wait. Only downside, the place got a bit loud later in the evening. But I'd still come back for that deer.

The fried cheese here was properly crispy, not greasy at all. Homemade iced tea hit the spot too. Nice little spot by the lake if you want a chill drink after walking around.

We booked a table for about 20 of us, a family thing. Food was pretty good, and they managed the gluten-free and vegan requests without any fuss. Service was fine, no real complaints. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but for a bigger group it worked out okay. Decent spot for that kind of gathering.
