The Hillside Inn

It was a relaxed, fun evening, made special by engaging staff. Even though they were understaffed, they made the best of the situation and provided excellent customer service.

My wife and I were due to meet up with friends for lunch several miles away from home but they had to cancel. We had not dined at The Hillside for some considerable time but were able to get a lunchtime booking. We had dined here on many occasions in the past but had forgotten how much we had enjoyed it before. We were fortunate that we chose a time when it was quite quiet so the ambience was good and we were well looked after. The food was good too so we left well satisfied and will not leave it for so long to return.

The food was very tasty , nicely presented and hot.The service was good , we did nt wait long between courses.Overall a good experience.

Went there for a family birthday, we had a really good table and enjoyed the evening very much. Service was a little slow but it was busy so we weren’t too worried and the server was very pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent, I had the pork belly which was delicious and everyone said they enjoyed theirs too. Well done for making it a memorable experience!

The food was excellent and very well presented. Our waitress Victoria was outstanding. Very helpful. Loved the atmosphere, especially the real fire.
