[Sharing of Global Treasure Hotels] 🏨Hotel name: La Bastide de Gordes 🏷Brand: LHW/Airelles Hotel Group 📍France·Provence - [Hotel Highlights] ▪️The first hotel in France to receive the "Palace Level" award ▪️Located in Gordes, the most beautiful village in France ▪️One of the most luxurious hotels in Provence ▪️18th-century decorative style, nostalgic and retro atmosphere everywhere ▪️22 rooms, 18 suites and a five-bedroom villa ▪️Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the fairy-tale Luberon Valley ▪️1,600 square meters of spa, in cooperation with Sisley of France - The hotel is located in the heart of Gordes Village in Provence as a former luxurious old house. Gordes Village is located on a rocky cliff in the heart of Luberon, Provence. It has a long history and is also known as the Stone City. As early as the 16th century, the buildings and roads here were built of stones, and they have been passed down intact to this day. The village itself is a historical site. The hotel is embedded in the vertical rock surface of the mountain and stands on the stone wall of the 12th century. The appearance of the castle is a perfect match with the ruins of the village wall. - Design: In early 2015, this ancient house was completely renovated for a year. It still maintains the decorative style of the 18th century, and is filled with nostalgic retro atmosphere everywhere. The whole hotel has been transformed into a classic and romantic country villa under the skillful hands of the designer. - Rooms: The hotel has 22 rooms, 18 suites and a five-bedroom villa. The rooms are filled with many exquisite artworks and various medieval-style paintings. Charm, elegance, comfort and luxury are integrated here. Three suites with private terraces allow you to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the fairy-tale Luberon Valley while feeling the infinite charm of the hotel with a long history. - Dining: The famous chef Pierre Gagnaire opened his own restaurant Peir here, using a lot of local fresh ingredients to pay tribute to Provence cooking. - SPA: The 1,600-square-meter spa center cooperates with Sisley of France, uses a variety of exclusive products for treatments, and has four swimming pools. The most outstanding one is 25 meters long and embedded in the terraced garden. - #Travel #Discover Treasure Hotel #French Hotel #French Travel #Luxury Hotel #Resort Hotel #Niche Travel Destinations #Healing Scenery #The World is So Big I Want to See #Leading Hotels of the World #Provence #Provence Travel #High-end Hotels You Will Understand Only After Sleeping #Hotel Addicted

Very warm welcome. Pleasant setting overlooking the Pont d'Avignon and the old town. The terrace under the trees is pleasant, especially in warm weather. Varied menu, hearty and delicious meals.

At the end of Gonghe Road, on the Bell Tower Square, among the restaurants, his storefront and chairs are red. The storefronts of the restaurants in the Bell Tower Square are very small, and there are basically 2-4 rows of tables; his store has only 2 rows. There is a TV to watch football games, it's very lively~ I ordered seafood noodles, scallop pot, and cuttlefish rice; the scallop pot is okay, but the other two main dishes are very salty. It's about 15 euros per person, which is okay.

I recommend this Mediterranean dish, it's very good, the environment is great, and the price/performance ratio is very good. We were very happy eating here.

We come back to this restaurant every year when we are on holiday. Everything about this little gem is wonderful!!!! The food is superb quality, the people lovely and friendly and very forgiving of less than perfect French, and their wine is gorgeous, and available to buy from their small cave!

Lou Piadina was a nice little restaurant in a not too busy part of Avignon. We arrived at 19:00 and the restaurant and square were fairly empty. The staff was very friendly and took the opportunity to practice their English. It was a learning opportunity for us as well as the very friendly waitress taught us so French colloquialisms. The food was great, simple, and filled us up. Great outdoor atmosphere.

We were looking forward to the Portuguese dishes posted on their menu. Sadly, there were none on the day that we dined. Typical lunch fare with sizable portions. Good value. My husband enjoyed the sauce on the chicken.
