Tasting menu was the highlight. Each course looked great and packed flavour. The 'Price is Wight' special was good value for the quality.

Love how this place transitions through the day. Had a coffee and a croissant in the morning, then came back for a late lunch and a cocktail on the sunny terrace. The vibe just shifts perfectly.

The full English was cooked just right. Good quality ingredients, nothing greasy. Service was quick, which I appreciate on a workday morning.

Lovely little shop, the staff were so helpful and let me try a few things before buying. Ended up getting a small box, and honestly, for the price, I was hoping for a slightly bigger portion. Still tasty though.

The calves liver special had this intense sweet-savory sauce. Honestly, the portion was generous for the price. We left feeling very full, which is a win in my book. Service was friendly, no complaints there.

Got the burger on a local's recommendation. The patty was juicy and cooked just right, with really fresh local ingredients. It's up there with the best I've had in town.

Our go-to for the first night on the Isle of Wight. Everything's cooked fresh when you order, so there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. The food comes out piping hot and really hits the spot.

The grilled white asparagus special was spot on. The forerib was a bit pricey but cooked just right.

Loved the maritime theme here, so many interesting artifacts to look at. The fish and chips were good, but what really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients. The peas were bright and the fish tasted very clean. A solid choice for a simple, well-made meal.

The staff brought out a little cake for my birthday, which was a nice touch. Service was pretty attentive.

A solid meal, service was prompt. The location on the Esplanade is very convenient. Good for a straightforward business lunch.

The beef was tender and the chicken in breadcrumbs was solid. The sweet and sour sauce did get a bit thick as it cooled, but they had a nice house red that paired well with both.

Lovely little spot with that rustic, trendy decor. The veggie full English was honestly the best I've had. Just a really nice, relaxed place to sit and enjoy a meal.

Loved the art deco interior, but that patio view is the real draw. Sat out there for lunch, just watching the ocean. The grilled fish was decent, though a bit pricey for the portion. Still, that view with a glass of wine? Hard to beat.

The view is stunning, worth the wait even when it's packed. They told us it'd be 30 minutes and it was spot on. Staff were friendly despite the rush.

The air raid shelter-style toilet is definitely a memorable touch. It fits right in with the quirky, immersive vibe they've got going on. A fun little detail that adds to the experience.

The lasagne was really comforting, just like a homemade dish. The staff were very friendly and made sure we were settled in. It's a cosy spot, feels like a little find.

Get there early if you want the crab. The simple menu is all about fresh local seafood, and their house white wine was a perfect match for the shellfish.

Lovely Sunday roast at this pub. The beef was perfectly pink and tender, the Yorkshires were huge and fluffy. Gravy had a good depth to it. A solid pint of their house ale to go with it. Just what you need.

Managed to get a table as a walk-in, which was a nice surprise. The lamb bhuna was packed with flavour and the peshwari naan was still warm from the oven. Really hit the spot.

The portions here are huge, I could barely finish my plate! Food was tasty, though a bit pricier than I'm used to. Still, felt like a solid deal for what you get.

The full English breakfast was spot on, not greasy. The homemade toast was a highlight.

Been here a few times now. Sat at the bar again last night, good spot to watch the kitchen. The small plates are decent, especially the ones with Asian flavours. Cocktails are solid.

Popped in for a coffee but ended up browsing for ages. They have these great hoodies with the local logo, plus all sorts of beach bits and local produce. Left with a coffee and a new favourite jumper.

The chips here are honestly the best I've had in ages! Perfectly crispy and not greasy at all. We shared a huge portion between three of us and still couldn't finish it. Great for a casual catch-up with mates.
