The Thuringian bratwurst here is properly done, not heavy at all. Courtyard seating makes it worth coming back to, even if the service gets a bit scattered when it's busy.

What an incredible place. Great interiors and tasty dishes. Great wine list, too. Last but not least: outstanding, attentive service.

The pork knuckle was the real deal. Crispy skin, tender meat, just the right amount of salt. Had it with a dark beer that paired well. The robot bringing plates was a bit gimmicky but whatever. Portion was generous for the price. Would eat that knuckle again.

Solid French spot. Onglet was properly tender, gratin potatoes hit the spot. One of the better ones I've had in Germany.

We stopped by for lunch and grabbed a table outside. The beer garden is tucked away so you don’t really see it from the street, but once you’re in there it’s pretty chill. Food was solid, nothing fancy, just hearty and filling. Beers were good too. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

Breakfast buffet had solid options and the coffee was decent. Staff kept things moving even when it got busy. Nothing fancy but does the job for a quick morning meal.

The pizza here really is something else. Thin crust, not too heavy, toppings balanced just right. I had the margherita and it felt fresh, not greasy at all. One of my go-to places in Weimar when I want something simple and tasty. Maybe not the cheapest, but the quality makes up for it.

Came here with a couple of friends on a weekday evening. The food was really good, portions are big so come hungry. We shared a few dishes and the house beer was a nice touch. Staff were friendly too. Just keep in mind it’s cash only, which almost got us. Also, definitely book ahead, place filled up fast. 😅

The burger was decent—cooked well and the bun held up nicely. Only thing: soft drinks cost more than I’d usually pay elsewhere. Food quality kind of makes up for it though. Fine spot if you’re in the area and want something simple.

Fun Wild West decor—there's even a canoe hanging from the ceiling, which I got a kick out of. Food was solid, though the bill added up quicker than I expected. I had a cocktail that paired nicely with the smoky flavors, but nothing mind-blowing. Fine for a casual stop if you're in the area and don't mind spending a bit extra.

We stopped by on a warm evening and grabbed a table on the terrace. The bifteki was nicely seasoned, you could tell it wasn’t from a freezer. Service was friendly enough, though we did wait a bit for the bill. Fine for a relaxed dinner if you’re not in a hurry.

Solid German food right in Weimar's center. The Rostbrätel was really good, one of the better ones I've had. Prices fair for the spot. Service friendly but a bit slow.

We asked for a corner table and got one, which was nice. Food was simple and good, nothing fancy. Some items felt a bit pricey for what you get, but the place emptied out and turned quiet. Decent enough.

The food was good and the staff were friendly, but I felt the prices were a bit high for the portions. A decent spot if you're nearby and don't want to think too hard about where to eat.

Stopped by for dinner after a long walk. Schnitzel was solid, crispy, not greasy. Beer came cold and cheap, which honestly made the whole thing better. Place is a bit out of the way, but that kept it from feeling touristy. Staff were friendly enough, though service slowed down when it got busy. Fine spot if you want real German food without the crowds.

The terrace is lovely in summer, and the inside is cozy too. Good value for the quality, and the staff make you feel at home.

Solid pizza for the price, no complaints. The outdoor seating is perfect for watching the street go by. Been here a few times now and it's always consistent.

The homemade cakes and tarts are really good, especially the apple tart. The interior is full of old-school furniture and knick-knacks, feels like sitting in someone's grandma's living room. Service was friendly, not pushy at all. We stayed way longer than planned just chatting. Only downside, it got a bit crowded around 3pm. Still, nice spot for a lazy afternoon with friends. 🙂

Nice vibe, music was just right for a chill evening. Cocktails were solid, though service took a bit. Would come back for a drink.

The tiramisu here is seriously good. Tastes like the ones I had in Italy, not too sweet, nice coffee kick. Had it after the pasta and honestly it was the best part of the meal. The limoncello was a nice little finish too. Place was a bit busy but worth it for that dessert alone.

Stopped by for a gelato and honestly the scoops are huge for the price. Lots of flavors to pick from, took me a minute to decide. Staff was friendly and patient while I was figuring it out. Nice to find a place where they don't rush you. Just wish there were a few more seats inside, but it was fine for a quick treat.

The buffet spread is decent for the price, lots of choices without breaking the bank. A la carte menu looked solid too, though I didn't try it. Seats were comfortable enough to linger a bit.

We had a really good meal at Koi7 in Weimar. The bibimbap was fresh and came out fast. Service was super friendly, which I always appreciate. The room is a bit simple and cluttered, but that didn't bother us. Prices are fair for what you get.

The staff really looked after us when my husband wasn’t feeling well. They called a taxi and didn’t even charge for our drinks. That kind of care stays with you. The food was decent, but honestly, the kindness meant more that evening.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and ordered the truffle pasta. The ingredients tasted really fresh, not heavy at all. Wine list is decent too. Service was friendly, though it took a bit to get the bill. Place gets busy around 8, so maybe go a little earlier if you want a quieter table.

The schnitzel list is massive, and the "normal" size was honestly huge. Tried the Dutch style with hollandaise and cheese—pretty rich, but good.

The passion fruit cake really stood out — moist base, full of flavor. Nice to see a couple of vegan options that actually taste good. Staff were friendly too.

The vaulted rooms really are something—old stone, proper historic feel. We grabbed a table without booking on a Tuesday, but I’d still reserve ahead if you’re coming on a weekend. I had a decent red by the glass that paired well with the schnitzel. Service was fine, though a bit stretched when it got busy. Solid spot for a relaxed dinner.

Fresh salad, big portions, and the staff actually knew what to recommend. Food came out fast too. Just stopped by on a whim, glad I did.
