Alexander Garden is a rectangular park outside the Red Wall of the Kremlin. This is one of Moscow's favorite places for relaxation and recreation. The Manesh underground shopping mall and square now built are integrated with the garden, fountains and sculptures can be seen everywhere. In the garden, there is the famous Tomb of the Unknown Martyrs, which was built on the eve of Victory Day in 1967. There is a torch in front of the tomb, and the unbroken flame has been burning since it was built. The tombstone is inscribed with "Your name is unknown, your deeds will last forever". When visiting foreign delegations, they usually pay homage to the tombs of martyrs and lay wreaths. Many Moscow people come here when they get married, and the new couples present beautiful flowers to the unknown heroes with reverence.
