Roman Theatre of Arles Review

The Arles Roman Theatre is a Roman-style open-air amphitheatre built in the late 1st century AD and now has only a few pillars and a few ruins. Similar to the ancient Roman theaters in many cities, it was once a large theater that often gathered people, and now it still often hosts some performances.

The ancient theater is also a legacy of the Roman period of the building, semi-open-air nature, will also hold some performances regularly, tickets need to be purchased separately, the theater can see many ancient architectural relics of the Roman period, well preserved.

Tickets for adults are 3 Euros and for children are 2.2 Euros. It's about 15 minutes'walk south from the railway station.

Ancient Roman theatres, buildings thousands of years ago, are very spectacular, and they are still in use, which is quite remarkable. The theatre is enclosed and it requires a fee to enter. We took pictures outside. The ticket office is in a small house on the street. It seems that few people buy tickets, and foreigners are outside. The theatre is not far from the ancient arena, and you can see the arena in a few minutes'walk.
