Skopje Fortress Review

The Keller Fortress in Skopje is a very strong medieval castle building. It is condescending, and the city is strong and tall. Although there is some damage, but the preservation is relatively intact, now it has become a fortress park, condescending overlooking the entire bay, the scenery is very pleasant, definitely worth a walk.

When I went, the fortress was closed, I don't know why. Skopje's point is that the strange and strange sculptures full of streets, and the very incompatible local tyrants of this city, see seven or eight bridges built on a river, and 24 statues of different shapes on a bridge? Their styles come from the White House in the United States, ancient Rome in Italy, Bauhaus in Germany...

On top of the old town, the fortress has nice views of the city. However there's nothing much in it and is a bit outside of the other areas.

Keller Fortress was built in the sixth century in the center of Skopje, on the left bank of the Vardar River, and is more spectacular in the distance, with all angles to see it. The castle has no tickets and no maintenance, but standing on the wall to watch the sunset and the Turkish area at your feet is really beautiful.
