Romantic Hotels in Guizhou, China

The front desk service was excellent. After checking in, they escorted us to the elevator. The hotel environment was great, and the room was spacious and quiet with two bathrooms. Since I was staying with a friend, we asked for two extra duvets, which were promptly delivered to our room by the staff. Breakfast was at the Hilton, and there was a shuttle service provided. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Coming to this Dong village for Chinese New Year, I didn't even consider other places and chose this one without hesitation. It really didn't disappoint; it was absolutely stunning. Every evening there was a performance of the Dong Grand Song. Since we checked in on New Year's Eve, the hotel even arranged a New Year's Eve dinner and had handmade dumplings. For someone from the North, the dumplings might not be the absolute best, but being able to eat handmade dumplings in a southern village on New Year's Eve really showed the owner's thoughtful attention to detail.

During my trip to Guiyang, I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a hotel located in Beida Resources Dream City, near Guiyang North Station. As I stepped into the room, the floor-to-ceiling windows immediately caught my eye, letting in an abundance of sunlight that made the entire space bright and warm. The desk and dining table were perfectly arranged, making it incredibly convenient for both work and enjoying meals. The shower and toilet were separate, and the independent vanity was thoughtfully designed, providing extra comfort. The hotel's amenities were simply perfect. The laundry room with a dryer solved the hassle of washing clothes while traveling, and the complimentary parking was a huge relief for those driving. The free printing and office area catered to business needs, while the complimentary coffee, milk tea, juice, and hot/cold mineral water were always available to refuel. Services like self-service shoe shining, umbrella rental, and free luggage storage were incredibly thoughtful, and the ability to issue general or special VAT invoices was an added bonus! From the hotel, it's just a few minutes' walk to Guiyang North Station, and with numerous bus routes and subway lines crisscrossing the area, getting around was a breeze. There's a plethora of delicious food nearby, with local specialties like 'Silawa' and 'Love Tofu Fruit' filling the air with tempting aromas.

The Hotel room was great, nice and clean. The room is modern with a rustic touch of wood finishes. It has good views of of the Guiylang white house and twin towers that light up every evening. The building itself is surrounded by street food and restaurants so many options to choose from. There is a few western franchises close by KFC, domino's and pizza hut. There are two shopping cenyres on e across the street and the Dolphin plaza about 16 minute walk. Easy access to Taxis and ride share so there is no problem getting around. Our experience was great overall and would recommend it yo anyone staying in the area

The B&B has an excellent location with fantastic views from the room. The overall decor creates a very peaceful and serene atmosphere. The room was clean, just as I expected. The service was also very thoughtful; a driver specifically picked us up from the high-speed rail station, and upon arrival, someone helped carry our luggage upstairs to the room. I especially loved their complimentary coffee, black tea, and delicious, generous breakfast. It was a wonderful B&B experience, and if I ever get the chance to visit Dong Village again, I would definitely choose to stay here!

The lobby's design is grand yet inviting, and the waiting area is comfortable. The Miao culture decorations really elevate the overall aesthetic. The gym is well-equipped with professional gear and is open 24/7, perfect for both morning and evening workouts. The front desk service was very attentive, making my trip truly enjoyable.

So far, this is the 3rd hotel we stayed in Tongren, i would definitely say, this is the best and so far for me and family. This JinJiang hotspring hotel really met international standard in terms of counter service (very polite and good attitude receptionist), and service at hotspring area deserves a thumbs up. The room is very spacious, nice interior and important - clean and neat. The water playground is definitely a good place for kids to have fun during summer holiday. I told the hotel desk that it was my actual birthday yesterday, guess what, they sent me a plate of grapes, so sweet of them. I would definitely come to this hotel next time when i am visiting my niece and nephew again.

I have to give a shout-out to Rabby from the Guest Relations team at Sofitel Guiyang Hunter! Her service was truly exceptional and incredibly thoughtful. Before I even checked in, she proactively added me on WeChat and sent over a meticulously organized guide to the hotel's outlets, dining options, and facilities. Every morning, she'd send a timely update on Guiyang's weather and even offer wardrobe suggestions – talk about attention to detail! She also provided clear electronic versions of the hotel's amenities and executive lounge benefits, making everything easy to understand. Whenever I had a question, I'd message her on WeChat, and her responses were lightning-fast, resolving issues quickly without me having to worry about a thing. The guest room offered stunning views of Jiaxiu Tower, blending French elegance with local charm perfectly. The bedding was the My Bed series, the same as found in Air France First Class. From check-in to check-out, Rabby's service was consistently thoughtful, warm, and attentive. She truly embodies Sofitel's high-quality service. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Guiyang!

Facilities: Complete Cleanliness: Average, the tabletops were dusty when wiped. Environment: The parking lot was quite run-down, but everything else was fine. Service: We were two people staying, and the laundry required a credit card, so we asked the front desk for an extra key card. After discussing it, they promised to send one, but it still didn't arrive after half an hour. After further discussion, they finally sent an elevator card. This delayed the laundry process, causing more people to wait in line, and the wait was long. The service was indifferent, and we couldn't understand why they couldn't provide a spare key card! Overall, it completely impacted our trip and our stay. The front desk staff completely lacked the service ethic expected of a star-rated hotel! Not only did they fail to provide convenience, but they also promised things but didn't deliver!

This old five-star hotel still has its charm. The location is unbeatable, and the service is excellent, including the delivery robot bringing items to your room. The rooms are a bit dated but still comfortable. However, there are a few small, petty details that I'm probably not the only one to mention: the mini-bar drinks are all individually priced, and the toilet paper in the bathroom is very thin. These really don't match the room rate. Hope you consider this feedback!
