"I arrived in front of the hotel around 3 PM, but there was no one there. I waited, wondering what to do, when a leisurely-looking man came over. He asked for my name and loudly confirmed it with another man. When I went into the front desk, it was packed with people, and I didn't know what to do, so I drank some tea and waited. Then someone who arrived later spoke to the front desk staff who were explaining things, asked for their name, and wrote it down on a piece of paper. If I had just waited silently, I would have been left alone the whole time. The room was spacious, and I could see the distant mountains, so I was able to relax in the room. The bath wasn't exactly clean, but it was okay. The open-air bath was outside, but I couldn't see the scenery or the sky at all, which I guess is unavoidable. I went for breakfast around 8:40 AM, but there was another huge line! By the time I ate, the miso soup had gotten completely cold, and the seat I was shown to was gone. It was a terrible experience. However, the food, especially the rice balls, was delicious. If you asked me if I would want to go again knowing all this, I would say yes. Thank you for your hospitality."
