This place is about a 5 to 10-minute walk from Takeo Onsen Station. As other reviews mentioned, it's quite old. The air conditioning, in particular, could use some attention. Although it's a ryokan, it seems to operate with a small staff. Breakfast is simple; it's a bit disappointing that there's no meat, but it genuinely offers a light morning meal. Unfortunately, the hot spring water is a circulated, heated, and disinfected type. Nevertheless, how should I put it... it feels like a place that put a lot of effort into it despite a small budget. The staff are very friendly, and the facilities on the first floor are interesting.

Ddd17bbIt’s an absolute bliss to stay in Suginoya, a luxurious ryokan in Saga. Our saga beef sukiyaki dinner was truly memorable as the quality of the meat was top notch- so soft yet flavorful, something we will remember for a long time. We enjoyed relaxing in the private and public bath, soaking in the zen vibes of the hotel and lounging in the spacious and comfortable room. Staff was friendly and tried to converse in English as best as possible. 100% recommend as we felt fully pampered here like it was our honeymoon all over again!
GGuest UserAs with all ryokans, this is a place where attentive kindness stands out. Since it does not receive many guests, it is a place where you can feel secluded in a quiet atmosphere. What's especially nice is the open-air hot spring. You can enjoy it privately while looking at the stars at night. And for dinner, you can savor delicious crab dishes to your fill. I highly recommend it to lovers.!!!
