"One of my favorite hotels in Japan. Loved everything. The onsen is very beautiful, specially the open space. The Mt Fuji side is very nice: you can see it in front of you, especially in the early morning. Location is very convenient. Totally recommended."

"Staying here when visiting Lake Kawaguchiko to see Mount Fuji was absolutely the right choice! Our room faced Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko directly, offering an unbeatable view. We booked a Japanese-Western style room, which was divided into two separate areas. It can accommodate up to 4 people with extra futons, perfect for families or friends traveling together. The hotel includes a Japanese dinner, which is served directly to your room. Enjoying a meal while admiring Mount Fuji creates an amazing ambiance. There's also a delightful happy hour until 6:30 PM, where all soft drinks and beer are free and unlimited – talk about incredible value for money! Downstairs, there are separate public onsen baths for men and women. Today, I had the women's bath all to myself. Soaking in the quiet, spacious bath while gazing at the lake and mountains was so relaxing, I didn't want to leave! It was truly a triple-S experience. The service was attentive and gentle throughout, making the entire stay a perfect 10. This place is definitely on my list for a second visit; I'll choose it again when I return to Mount Fuji!"

"Stayed at The Gran Resort Princess Fujikawaguchiko and had a great overall experience. The room was very spacious, and I like that they offer mostly twin and triple bed setups, which feel comfortable and practical. The best part is that every room has a view of Mt. Fuji, which makes the stay really special. The onsen was also very nice—clean, relaxing, and a great way to unwind after a day out. Service was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Food was decent, nothing too standout but still enjoyable. Location-wise, it worked well for me since I rented a car. However, it might be less convenient if you rely on public transport. Overall, a great stay if you want space, a good onsen, and a guaranteed Fuji view."

"The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Kawaguchiko Station, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The view was simply unbeatable—we could see Mount Fuji right from our room. Our stay included both dinner and breakfast, and we were lucky enough to visit on a perfectly clear day, so we got an unobstructed view of Fuji in all its glory. It was one of those moments that made the trip truly unforgettable. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and spoke English well, which made everything even smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"The hotel has an onsite outdoor and indoor Onsen. Our room is 25sq m and spacious. The layout of the room is separated into sleeping area and entrance with basic amenities. This hotel is supposed to be able to view the beautiful Mr Fuji but because it has been raining and cloudy the past few days, we were not able to see Mt Fuji from this hotel but our room faces the great ocean and that was good. The breakfast spread was great with a wide spread of many varieties.  I was hoping for a late night snack of Hot ramen soup as with many Japanese hotels with Onsen but sadly this hotel don’t provide this service."

"We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the generous room sizes with private balconies, and the quality of the onsen and sauna. Mt Fuji is literally right outside your balcony. We got to see the sunrise and the few moments when the mountain appeared. The breakfast which is included in our reservation provides a good selection of food, which is a great addition to the stay. That said, the hotel’s current operational policies are quite inflexible and impacted our trip. The shuttle bus hours (8:00 AM–11:00 AM outbound) are too limited for those of us hoping to visit major attractions early in the day. Furthermore, the handling of the shuttle schedule felt overly strict; we were one minute late (I’m not kidding… we sat on the van at 9:01am for our 9:00am reservation) due to a quickly resolved checkout issue and were immediately called out for it, which created a tense atmosphere. Similarly, requiring guests to commit to a specific breakfast time at check-in and that all party come together as it is written in one breakfast “ticket” is unusual and challenging for those looking for a relaxing, schedule-free vacation. We believe that softening these rigid policies would greatly improve the guest experience. Despite these logistical points, the location is a major plus, as it is within easy reach of a popular Hoto Fudo restaurant and a mall. The price point is also extremely reasonable when you factor in all the amenities and that breathtaking Mt. Fuji view. I would still highly recommend this property for families looking for a comfortable base near Mt. Fuji."

"Facilities: Though a 'Super Hotel' is on the smaller side, it's quite new. We were assigned a room randomly; it was compact but had everything we needed, especially the Refa hairdryer, which was excellent – highly recommend! Every evening from 6-8 pm, there's a complimentary self-service welcome drink in the lobby. While the selection isn't huge, it's a very thoughtful touch! Cleanliness: As always, Japanese hotels are impeccably clean and hygienic. For a hot spring hotel, they've done an outstanding job in this regard. 👍 Environment: The hotel is conveniently located, with a convenience store just a 5-minute walk away. There are also several restaurants nearby, including the incredibly popular Sushiro (easy to get a table!) as well as Sukiya and yakiniku places. Service: The hotel does not offer shuttle service. Even though it's near Kawaguchiko Station, it's not exactly close. The walk involves going through rural paths and fields, and while the views of Mount Fuji are stunning, watching your step on the road can be quite challenging. (See photo) Having experienced the difficult walk, I decided to take a ride-sharing service for my return trip after check-out (1.2km, about 80 RMB). Friendly tip: If you're traveling independently with large luggage (which is common for Japan trips) and don't plan on taking a taxi, you might want to seriously reconsider this hotel. Just looking out for my fellow travelers! 🤣🤣 One small complaint about the price: I booked a twin room with breakfast included fairly early. Later, I saw that a room without breakfast was 500 RMB cheaper per night. Given the breakfast provided by the hotel, paying that much extra for two people's breakfast really wasn't worth it."
