It was the BEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BOOKED in my LIFE. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE. The room was so clean and the amenities is complete. Theres a beach 5mins away from here. When I lost my wash bag everyone was so busy looking for it until I found it. They are so helpful and I loved the experience here. If I will go back to Mactan Cebu I will definitely come back here. The price is worth the service. I also loved their buffet breakfast. I was so delicious and unique. All the restaurant is also very near walking distance so it was WORTH IT! Please keep up the good work. I am only sad that the pool is not available when I came here. Please make it available ASAP. We wish you well. I wanna invest in this kind of hotel too. I had a fantastic time staying at The Reef Resort! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean and the resort have enough activities to keep you busy. I would definitely recommend this resort to family and friends. The breakfast buffet every morning was good with assorted choices. You can snorkel infront of the resort with so many different kind of fish, I was amazed! The resort even packed me a breakfast box when I had to leave early in the mornings for activities. They also have a great SPA with great treatments! A well equipped gym overlooking the ocean. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable!

Location is great. It’s near the airport, near the beach, many restaurants and convenience stores around. However the cleanliness of the hotel has so much more to improve. Pillowcases smelled used, so I had it replaced. The duvet cover also has some nasty smell. They do not clean daily. And when they do, they don’t replace towels. They are nice when I’m asking for assistance, but clean sheets and pillows should be a standard and I shouldn’t ask for it pa. Their pool on the third floor is not that safe for children, as some of the tiles are quite lifted up, and it could cause small cut if you’re not careful. But their infinity pool near the beach is great, it’s big and clean. However, water there is expensive, so bring some with you if you decide to go.

Perfect! This hotel is part of a chain, and all the Hennan properties are connected. The Alona branch is fantastic, with direct beach access right outside. The breakfast spread is amazing, and the buffet for lunch and dinner is also great. You could easily spend a whole day just enjoying the hotel facilities!

Very nice resort with a small beach, 2 pools and some restaurants and bars. Rooms are big enough, breakfast was delicious. You need to walk a bit to find if you want to find outside restaurants or shops. Approximately 30mins by Grab to/from the airport.

This hotel's service is the kind that ruins your day. I was asked for my room number three times. The first two times were fine, and the inquiries were at least polite. But once, when my child was playing in the pool, a male attendant came over and very sternly asked for my room number. His look and expression made me feel like he thought I was some outsider trying to sneak into their pool! It was incredibly offensive! To top it off, our child cut their toe in the pool. When I mentioned it to them that evening, there wasn't even a single 'sorry.' I initially thought about sending an email to complain, but then decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I definitely don't recommend this hotel! The food was also bad; even the butter at breakfast was some unfamiliar local Filipino brand.

We arrived at the hotel at 4am and was told that we have to pay a full day's rate instead of the early check in rate of 1000 pesos that we are communicated earlier, as the early check in timing is supposed to be 8am. We paid for it as we were so tired from the flight. It would be good if the hotel had given us some discount since its just a few hours from the early check in timing. Room was fantastic and clean, spacious enough for luggages and movement. There is a long dressing table and a side ledge along the windows, perfect for us to put our stuffs. Bathroom has hand shower, which is perfect for us. Only thing is the bidet, too painful to use with its small but powerful jets lol. Thank you to the hotel for giving us a connecting room for our friends as we are in a group of 5. Breakfast was great with a lot of variety and at a reasonable price, in fact it is better than another hotel's breakfast which was priced more steeply. Hotel staffs were polite and hospitable, response was fast when we called for extra toiletries in the room. Ayala mall was across the road from the hotel, but the only challenge was crossing that road. Concierge was very helpful with our luggages upon arrival and departure. In all, it's a great stay and I would definitely recommend my friends to stay there!

It's a 30-minute Grab ride from the airport. Two-story guest rooms are built around three swimming pools. I really liked that flip-flops were provided in the rooms. The beach is a lagoon, so there are no waves, but the tidal range is quite significant. Most guests are Asian, with many Japanese families and children. The beach can get quite noisy, especially on weekends, as locals and guests from surrounding hotels visit for the day, and groups set up large tents for events. To avoid this, it's a good idea to book a day tour through the hotel or beach tour desk. It gets quiet at night. The seafood at The Cove restaurant was excellent, and I highly recommend the breakfast buffet. Amuma Spa was also great. There's a small convenience store and the Maribago Grill restaurant within walking distance, which were also convenient.
