It’s was super nice. Staff is very nice and polite. Reception staff was very nice as well. Amenities are super. I will come back there for sure. Rooms are amazing, style and design. Beach, pools and all the rest things. 10 out of 10. There was only 1 negative point is the super noisy A/C in my room, it sounded like a tractor. I used earplugs to fall a sleep. Next time I will mention this as a priority point while booking the room.

The environment is good, but the personal feeling is not good. When personal belongings are left behind, 1. No active notification was given (maybe it is not convenient, but I guess we would have contacted them earlier if we had damaged anything). 2. After finding the items in the hotel, we communicated with Ctrip to see whether we would pick them up by ourselves or have them delivered to the next hotel. After we confirmed that it was too expensive to return and planned to deliver them by express, we reconfirmed that the items were delayed. 3. We contacted the express delivery at the next hotel and were told that it would take 24 hours to deliver them. To be on the safe side, we chose to deliver them to the last hotel we were going to stay in. 4. After the communication, they said that the last hotel needs to check in and provide the room number before delivery. 5. After we checked in at the last time, they immediately contacted us to provide the room number, and then they said that we had to provide a personal local number, but we didn’t have it. We asked if we couldn’t have the items delivered to the front desk for collection? The answer was no, and they suggested that we find the personal phone number of the hotel concierge. 5. We consulted the hotel and asked if we could provide the concierge’s personal phone number. The answer was no, and we could send it to the front desk for forwarding. 6. We communicated with the hotel again and they said that the delivery would take 48 hours, so we stayed for about 48 hours.
So, 1. Why didn’t you tell us that we needed a local phone number (we could have prepared it in advance)? 2. Why did you say 24 hours at first and then it became 48 hours?
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everything—from the food to the service—was excellent. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff truly make you feel at home.
Our room was lovely and had a balcony, which was a nice highlight even during the summer. We also enjoyed swimming at the beach; although it’s only open until 7 PM, it’s understandable since it gets dark later in the evening.
One of the major highlights for us was the indoor playground for kids. We brought our baby along, and she had such a great time—it made the whole experience even more special. The food was delicious throughout our stay, and I want to especially commend a staff member named Yuki. She was so nice, hardworking, and truly stood out with her excellent service.
Another thing worth mentioning is the cleanliness. We went out and came back to a clean and tidy room even without requesting housekeeping—definitely a big plus!
Overall, this was the best staycation we’ve had, and it was a perfect way to celebrate our baby’s first birthday. We felt relaxed, well taken care of, and genuinely happy with our stay. Thank you so much—we will definitely recommend this hotel to others and look forward to coming back again!

He gave us a wonderful introduction to the hotel, arranged taxis for us, and solved any issues we had with such care and professionalism. The Chinese New Year celebration at the hotel was another highlight of our stay. The “sky lantern” activity was beautifully organized, and we were deeply moved by the efforts of the staff who learned to say “新年快乐” (Happy New Year) in Chinese. It made us feel so special and welcomed during this important festival.

One of the best intercontinental hotels we have ever been too. Classy hotel and fantastic amenities. Shaheedah from Egypt did our checkin smoothly. Abdou helped with our bags. All the staff were well trained and took care of the guests. One thing that could be changed is someone should be attending at the checkin/check out counters to avoid annoying customers because no one could make out who was next in the queue. Food was amazing and the beach and pool awesome. Although in January when we went the sea water was too cold and very windy. So beach was difficult to swim in but the pool was temperature controlled. Great hotel and value for money. Also the pressure of the showers should be increased if possible. And better shampoo should be arranged too.

Was a great stay. Just that the rooms need sound proofing. I could hear people at the corridor making noises.
Checking in before Christmas, there were a lot of guests in the hotel, most of them families with children. Breakfast is full, so go early or you'll have to wait in a long line. The various activities in the hotel are basically focused on children, and there are basically no programs arranged for adults.

The Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort is an excellent choice for a luxurious and relaxing holiday in Ras Al Khaimah. Its beautiful beachfront location, impressive pools, elegant rooms, and attentive staff create a memorable experience. While it's relatively new, and some minor ”teething” problems have been mentioned, the resort is clearly striving to deliver a top-tier experience. It's highly recommended for families and couples seeking a serene and sophisticated retreat.

Traveling with my family, it was my first time to Ras Al Khaimah. Because of Eid, the hotel was very busy and I had to wait for more than an hour to check in. The beach is beautiful and there is a standard golf course. The room is relatively large, and there is no problem for a family of four. There are two large beds and a sofa. Overall, the room is good. There is a cloakroom and the partition is good and convenient. The children had a lot of fun. There is a swimming pool for children.

Sports bar is great, but not all drinks are in the all-inclusive, but has premier league football
Cons:
If you drive you will have to park outdoors under a tree and your car will be covered in debris, no underground parking
House drinks could be better, soft beverages are great though
Pools and beach is overcrowded
Outdoor bars close too early
Restaurants are not included with the all-inclusive except for buffet restaurant, suggest guests staying over 2 nights should be able to book within all-inclusive
Overall, was dreading the booking , but was pleasantly surprised.

SSamrat BI had a good stay . The hotel is clean and well-kept, which I appreciated. The outdoor pool was great, especially with it being right on the beach—perfect for relaxing. The indoor pool was a bit small, though. Breakfast was decent, but I wish they had more vegetarian options. Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you’re on a budget and want to be by the beach.
