It's not the first time I stayed in that hotel, this time I booked for my daily trip was with the wrong date. The hotel, the manager, the reception, the chef of the kitchen... the general team. The whole situation was amenable and welcomed by them, once again I felt perfectly welcomed by their hospitality. It doesn't make much sense for me to come to Buzios and not pass through the Greek! Environment, hygiene, service, bar team, kitchen, management. I have to thank you! Manager : Erik Reception : William and Luiz Chef of the kitchen : Luiz

The room is very good, comfortable, clean and has a wonderful view! Improvement points: I made the order of a nice filet with a paddy sweet and was very bad. The breakfast is honest, tasty. 2) SPA. I know it is a third-party company, but the care needs to improve tb. I asked for a massage via WhatsApp and the massage therapists did not respond in any way. I had to ask for the guest's reception to get in touch with the SPA. When they arrived at the massage, the officials were massaging each other, so they didn't listen to me and, to complete a constraint, I passed a constraint when they charged me the massage, even I informed that I would pay as soon as they finished. the service. bad experience.

Overall a nice trip, and a pretty fancy hotel for the price. I would consider it more like a 4**** hotel than a 5 star, personally. highlights: - beautiful lobby and view from our room of the mountains, beach, etc. - kind people at the desk and otherwise. very safe inside even though neighborhood is a bit sketchy at times. - great bed, windows, bathtub, etc.. - affordable as an american for level of service. - spa and rooftop restaurant are amazing. gym is great too! dealbreakers: (may stop me from booking next time) - wifi was basically broken the entire time in our room, and in the hotel at times. less than 10mbits, and no signal in most of our room. front desk said several times they'd fix but I don't think they have the ability to actually fix it. many other people had this issue as well. at a 5* hotel, this should not be happening. major issue, had to do meetings in the lobby to get it to function at all. - breakfast is *good* but definitely caters towards a local brazilian diet (very few options for vegans). as a vegetarian, I'll just say I ate a lot of eggs and cheese. but hey, that's brazil so not digging on the hotel too much on that. - elevator is incredibly busy, and there were times where it literally said ”not available” and we had to wait 5 minutes to actually use it. - there are *TONS* of families with kids in and around the pool when we went. so environment was quite loud and crazy most of the time. they do timeshares so I think mostly big families frequent the hotel. - we booked and paid extra for the *Junior Suite* (with a large living room as well as bath). the front desk gave us the *room with bath* which ended up being nice.. but is half the size, and refused to put us in the junior suite room, even after showing the reservation. this may be a Trip.com issue instead of the hotel.. but they didn't offer any compensation or flexibility for us. trip did refund us the difference in price though. overall, its a great deal for the price, and the architecture is amazing, the room is nice, good water pressure. horrible wifi and very few vegetarian options made it difficult to recommend again, but we liked our stay nonetheless.

Nothing else. They sell it as if it were 4 stars, but it definitely isn't. It's not bad, but it's not worth the price. Breakfast with few options and what was available was not very good. Room much smaller than it looks in the photos.

Very friendly staff, nice hotel. I booked a suite for one night, the room was clean although it could use some refurbishing. One window didn't lock, so the noise from the street was constant. Located in a street with some stores, but not an area where you feel safe walking around. No toiletries included apart from s soap and shower gel/shampoo. Coffee machine in the bedroom with 2 coffee pods. I couldn't see a menu anywhere, assumed these were complimentary, as in most hotels where you rent a suite. I was surprised to be charged 1.5 USD per capsule on checkout, and that there was a QR code informing me of this in the room. I couldn't find it anywhere though. All in all, great staff, but there is definitely a much better price to service/location ratio than this hotel in Rio

The hotel was pretty nice and in a really good location just a short walk from the beach. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. The only negative is that the hotel is quite dated and could use some renovation.

This property has the potential to be amazing, but it needs a few key updates. The location is fabulous, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant is great both in terms of service and food quality. The room was spacious, and the balcony was unbeatable. If you only speak English, you can get by staying here because all of the staff speak excellent English. We encountered a problem when the showerhead broke off, but the repairman came reasonably quickly to replace it, and he was very polite and not disruptive. We ordered room service, and Dom Rio, the hotel’s restaurant, delivered it quickly. I had the filet which was cooked properly to the correct temperature (medium rare). My fiancé had the alfredo pasta which she liked a lot. The breakfast had a huge selection, and everything tasted good. The only thing keeping this hotel from earning top marks is the general state of much of the decor in the rooms. The curtains look shabby and dirty from moisture, and the wood of the cabinets is warped also. It is very hard to maintain a room that is constantly exposed to salt water and ocean breeze, but the materials chosen have not stood up to age. I would recommend staying here if you are interested in staying in Barra at a nice but reasonably priced hotel, but don’t expect the finest luxury. Expect a very large, fairly clean room with a comfortable bed and an amazing view.

MMaomaomilaThe hotel is in a great location, just across the street from the beach. It's very convenient to watch the sunrise and go to the night market and bars. The room is very small, and you can't even spread out your suitcases. It's best to choose a room with a sea view, otherwise you can only see the building next door when you open the window in other rooms. The hotel lobby is not big, and the front desk service is average. There is a shower room at the entrance of the hotel, which is convenient for washing after going to the beach. The breakfast restaurant has a good view, and you can see the blue sky and beach not far away.

GGuest UserThe hotel is well suited, but we have had a very serious problem. In the night one guest came into our room for a check-in error. We were scared and the person too. We called at the reception to complain and the care was very bad, they called us after 20 minutes to say that it was a mistake, obviously we already knew. The hotel was very small and there was no room for kids. I would like to have had more hospitality in the service.
