Once in Japan, it worked perfectly after disabling airplane mode, no settings required, and I encountered no problems. It mostly uses LTE, but it works smoothly, and the signal doesn't drop on the subway. Overall, a great user experience.

I've been to Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Hirashima, Tokyo. Arima Onsen had 5G everywhere, and in some places, except for Arima Onsen, there was excellent 4G. Excellent esim.
