We booked a trip to Shanghai and Phu Quoc. In Shanghai, everything worked flawlessly on 5G. But in Phu Quoc, the connection was poor. It's better to buy a SIM card on arrival.★

So convenient! I gave it to my husband. Since my phone is a mainland China version and can't use eSIM, I made sure to check eSIM compatibility before buying. For Chinese travelers, I still recommend buying a physical roaming SIM card in China for convenience. If you're living abroad like me and have just bought a mainland China version phone, I suggest buying a physical SIM card locally. You can also buy an eSIM card changer.★
