Port of Barcelona

Port of Barcelona is backed by Montjuïc and faces the Mediterranean Sea. It is not only an important cruise homeport and ferry terminal on the Mediterranean coast but also a popular waterfront destination in the city. The old port area has undergone comprehensive renovation, transforming former warehouses, freight depots, and railway yards into a leisure coastline filled with yachts and sightseeing boats. Starting from beside the Columbus Monument, the "Passarel·la Rambla del Mar" wooden boardwalk uses a wavy arc to draw the flow of people from La Rambla out to the sea, making it a highly recognizable photo spot in the port area; on the reclaimed peninsula at the end of the boardwalk, the Maremàgnum shopping center and the aquarium stand by the water. If you want a different perspective of the city, you can take the "Las Golondrinas" sightseeing boats departing from the pier next to the monument—these wooden sightseeing boats have been operating for over 100 years. They first circle the old port and then head east along the coastline, allowing you to look back at the entire city skyline from the sea. A more expansive experience comes from the aerial cable car that spans the harbor: the cabins depart from the tower on the La Barceloneta side, cross theold harborthrough the air, and go straight up to the hillside of Montjuïc, offering a panoramic view of the port, beach, and city skyline. This is also the starting point for many Mediterranean cruise routes, and there are also ferry services to and from places like the Balearic Islands.Barcelona · 13.4km from Viladecans

Tibidabo is one of the peaks of the Parc Natural de la Serra de Collserola, standing over 500m above sea level. Looking out from the summit, the city blocks stretch all the way to the Mediterranean coast. The mountain's name comes from the Latin "Tibi dabo," meaning "I will give to you," derived from the story of ascending a high mountain to overlook the prosperity of the world—a fitting description for the view before you: on a clear day, your gaze can extend fromMontjuïcall the way to the sea, taking in the entirety of Barcelona. Most of the mountain lies within the Parc Natural de la Serra de Collserola. The pine-covered slopes are crisscrossed with trails, often frequented by hikers and cyclists, making it a popular backyard for Barcelona residents on weekend outings. The summit area is home to several striking landmarks: the central bell tower of the Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is topped with a bronze statue of the Sacred Heart. You can take an elevator or climb the spiral staircase to the top of the tower to survey the entire city from the foot of the statue; the old amusement park right next to the church has been in operation for many years and even houses a museum with a collection of vintage automatons; not far away, the Torre de Collserola, designed by Norman Foster for the 1992 Olympic Games, stands on the ridge with its nearly 300m mast-like structure. The tower features an observation deck and can be recognized from many corners of the city when you look up.Barcelona · 14.8km from Viladecans

Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia is a famous luxury street with many big-name stores. It is quite interesting and romantic here. The designers of the whole street have decorated it according to different festivals, which is quite innovative.

Great way to get around the city and see the sites. Good level of information via the on bus audio guide, just a shame you fly past a lot of the things they talk about. Really good value in terms of being able to use on two routes and getting on and off throughout the day. Drivers and conductors were really helpful and polite. Bus was clean and tidy.

Join a group tour in Spain and Portugal. 25 people small group pure play • all included • five nights five-diamond hotel • direct flight from Air China • 6 special meals • WIFI included, "Flamenco show | vintage carriage parade | high-speed AVE train | seven major attractions | Sagrada Familia | Alhambra Palace 1 Park Güell | Madrid Royal Palace | Seville Cathedral". Visit Montjuic Park. View Barcelona Port from a distance on the mountain and on the bus. Montjuic is a lush hill in the southwest of Barcelona. It is also the city's central park and a good place for jogging and walking. Because of its high terrain, it is also a good place to overlook the panoramic view of Barcelona. Montjuic Park has witnessed many major events in Barcelona. It was once the venue for the 1929 World Expo and became the main venue for the Barcelona Olympics in 1992. It has made great contributions to the successful hosting of various festivals in Barcelona over the past century. It is still possible to visit the Olympic Stadium and the Olympic Museum.

Nice war castle. Mostly stone and bricks. Nice view for Barcelona and port. In fact this attraction is for max 1hr of visiting. Attention! Only one toilet was open with the line for 30 min of waiting (man and woman)

We did this on our first day of the trip and it was such a great way to start it off. The view is absolutely stunning and the church is so beautiful. The only thing that spoilt it was the fairground!
