Highlights: East Lake is located on the east side of the ancient city of Linhai. It was built in the Northern Song Dynasty and was originally a place where the navy patrolled troops. In the four years of Xining (1071) in the Northern Song Dynasty, Taizhou County guarded the Qianshuyan Shutantan and built it into a lake. The entrance to the southeast is Yishui Villa, which is named after Du Fu's poem "Famous Garden by Green Water". There are buildings that commemorate the money and the Qian family, commonly known as "the money garden." Since the Song Dynasty, East Lake has been maintained for generations. In recent years, the Linhai Municipal Government has also carried out a large-scale refurbishment of East Lake with reference to historical features, making the ancient park of the past millennium more glorious.
