    Great Trail!

    I cycled most of the trail and really enjoyed the ride. This would be good for walkers, runners and cyclist. My hats off to the snowmobilers who I understand maintain the trail!

    Great way to unwind.

    I walked this trail in 3-5 mile increments all summer. Nice combination of sun and shade. Can also access the North Country trail from here for a bit more challenging hike.

    Scenic and Challenging

    I have ridden the Central Lakes trail from Sauk Centre to Evansville. The stretch from Alex to Osakis goes amongst lakes and farmland with a challenging railroad grade near the Osakis end. From there ...

    Be aware of your surroundings at night on the trail

    We walked trail and more towards night it tends to have more kids on the trail in groups in some parts of the trail. We had no issues though

    Nice ride

    Wide, flat, paved trail in the woods and thru small towns. Very nice ride. Some construction when we rode and some mud from recent rains, but a trail I’ll do again.
