You can walk up and see the local Anchorage mascot Star at any time. There is a window for viewing at the front of the house.
Reindeer up close.
Interesting to see a reindeer up close. We saw it only in the fenced in area; good quality pictures were not possible. If you’re in the area, stop by, especially with kids. An extra stop just for view...

Such pathetic treatment of an animal
Can’t believe someone thought this was a good idea, to cage and display a wild animal in such a confined space. Very sad. Quite pathetic.
