    Oldest part of town

    Situated in the historic old part of town, this is your best chance to see a part of Astana before the modernization took place. A fairly typical Christian orthodox church with beautiful murals.

    The oldest one

    Never closed during the soviet regime, the liturgy kept on going in this vintage church, run by a friendly staff and attended by typical locals.

    Beautiful

    Well worth a view of a Russian Orthodox Church. Artwork has been carefully restored and access was easy

    Cute church

    Visited Pascha last year. The priest made a special point of coming out to see us, even though it was closed for the evening.
