Traveling to Phuket, Sapa.
One of the conquerors of #Fansipan peak, which stands at 3,143 meters above sea level 🏔️, was beyond expectations, even more amazing than the Amazon. 😍 Although I knew it was beautiful, I didn't expect it to be this beautiful. When I was on the cable car, I thought it would only take a few minutes, but it took almost 20 minutes. The view was so stunning during the journey. It's surprising how it was built so high. 💰I prepared 1,500 Baht for the Fansipan trip, which includes going up to 3 stations and coming back down from 2 stations (the descent is about 1 km from the peak with the most beautiful view). There was a steep staircase, and it was a bit scary to climb down slowly while holding onto the handrail. We went there in late May, and the weather was cool in the lower area, but hot during the day. I thought it wouldn't be much colder up there, but my hands were shaking. It was almost windy enough to make me scream. Fortunately, we went there around noon, and there wasn't much fog, which made it less cold and gave us plenty of beautiful views. I highly recommend Fansipan and Sapa! 🌄🌿🌺 #Fansipan #Sapa #Vietnam #TravelwithVietjet #Klook #JourneysCallsOfficial #TravelVietnam
It is the highest mountain in the Indochinese Peninsula (comprising Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia), hence its nickname "the Roof of Indochina"
The view from Fansipan Peak could be amazing if you are there on a sunny day. Unfortunately, we were in Sapa in rainy season, end of August, so it’s quite hard to catch a clear day there. Local guide told me that when at the foot of the mountain you can see the peak then it is sunny up there. To get there from Sapa center we took Muong Hoa funicular then Fansipan Cable Car up. It is raining and freezing there so we chose not to climb 600 steps to the top but took Fansipan Monorail from Do Quyen Station near Ha Pagoda. After got off, I climbed a few more stairs to reach Fansipan Peak
Great experience on top of the mountain peak. Can ride a cable car and tram to go to the peak
Fansipan, the "Roof of Indochina," stands majestically as Vietnam's highest peak, offering an awe-inspiring spectacle for those who dare to conquer its heights. The journey to its summit is a trek through diverse ecosystems, from lush forests to rugged terrain, creating a visual symphony of nature. As the ascent progresses, panoramic views unfold, revealing a breathtaking tapestry of valleys and peaks beneath an expansive sky. Fansipan's beauty is not just in its elevation; it's a poetic rendezvous with the splendor of Northern Vietnam. For those seeking adventure and a communion with nature, this mountain is an unparalleled gem that beckons with the promise of awe and inspiration.
Fansipan was really worth it! We took the train and cable car up (ticket bought from our hotel, which was given discount for). We then hiked 600 steps from the cable car station to the summit of Fansipan (3,134m above sea level). For those who wish to go all out, can join their expedition hike. Either way, must come to this place, the view is AMAZING! You can see the valley from the summit (if the weather is clear). The wind is pretty strong and dry up here, so do wear something thick and moisturise/spf your skin.
Feeling excited when walking to the roof of the Indochina house, luckily when it's sunny & cloudy
The highest peak in Indochina is very beautiful, there are trams and cable cars, very convenient. On the way back, walk down to see the atmosphere and pay respect to the monks.
