The downside is that there are wires blocking part of the view (need to be removed in post-production) Also because the guardrail is high, you need to climb the guardrail to shoot! I visited Wat Paknam in Bangkok and I was impressed by its scale and elegance. It is a royal temple that dates back to 1610, during the Ayutthaya period, and has received royal patronage ever since. It is situated in the Phasi Charoen district, adjacent to the Chao Phraya River and several canals. The temple features a splendid stupa that was inaugurated in 2012, named Maharatchamongkhon. It is 80 meters tall and 46 meters wide, and has five floors filled with Buddhist art and relics. The stupa is adorned with gold and colorful glass mosaic tiles, making it shine in the sunlight. I ascended to the top floor and beheld a magnificent emerald Buddha statue, surrounded by thousands of smaller Buddha images. The temple also features a colossal bronze Buddha statue that was completed in 2021, placed in front of the stupa. It is 69 meters tall and 32 meters wide, and weighs 250 tons. It is one of the largest Buddha statues in the world, and it looks very majestic and tranquil. I felt very calm and inspired when I saw it. I appreciated my visit to Wat Paknam very much. It is a place where you can admire the beauty and grandeur of Buddhism. It is also a place where you can learn about the history and culture of the Phasi Charoen district, which has been influenced by the temple for centuries. One of my most impressive discoveries in Bangkok is the giant Buddha statue in Wat Pak Nam Temple. This is the largest Buddha statue in the capital of Thailand, whose height is 64 meters. The most unusual angles on this statue should be looked for near the channels that flow next to the temple. An absolutely incredible sight! Getting There - The easiest way is to take Bangkok MRT subway to Bang Phai station. You will then have a ten minute walk to reach the temple but can also hire a motorbike taxi for 10 THB. If you have the chance to go there you should definitely go. Second the big humble looking buddah is very magnificent and beautiful in its on way. Third it is great walk around on the pagoda and have a look around the neighborhood and enjoy the view on the surrounding temples and pagodas. Last but not least it is not that crowded because many people don’t know about it.

#celebratewithtrip. this temple is absolutely stunning! first it has a huge Buddha outside, and once you walk into this pagoda till 4th floor, you will see this beautiful ceiling that painted with blue and green colours. it’s a bit trippy, and the colour is really vivid! it’s free of entry and by the river side, once you get to the terrace, you are able to see the skyline of Bangkok, and the river down. it’s pretty touristy, and lots of locals also come here to pray! this is a must visit place in Bangkok, you can easily reach here by MRT or BTS, then you walk for 12 minutes, you will see the temple. every floor they have some Buddhism related things you can look around
