Shuiyu Village is located in Nanjiao Township, Fangshan District, 80 kilometers southwest of Beijing, and 8 kilometers away from National Highway 108. Yijiao Township of Shuiyu Village is 52 kilometers away and 10 kilometers away from Yingudong original area of National Shihuadong Geopark. There are 436 villagers and 1031 people. The cultivated land area of the whole village is 1714 mu, of which 1528 mu are returned to forest, and the fruit trees are mainly chestnut and persimmon. A total of 45,840 saplings were planted, including 19,730 adult fruit trees, including 8,000 persimmon trees, 11,500 walnut trees and 230 chestnut trees. There is another 4380 mu of forest, of which: the water spring back forest still maintains its original form and has a certain tourism development value. Shuiyu Village is a deep mountain village. The whole village is distributed along a northwest-southeast ditch rock. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast, with an average altitude of 500-800 meters. A 100,000-cubic-meter reservoir is built in the south of the village, and there is water in all seasons; there are three wells with abundant water sources; tap water is fed into the streets for people and animals to drink. A 4,500-meter water diversion pipeline will be constructed around the mountain to divert water from the reservoir to irrigate saplings. The village is naturally well maintained. What is particularly valuable is that there are still 600 houses and more than 100 sets of courtyard houses in the Ming and Qing Dynasties located on the gentle east slope of the village, and they are relatively intact at present. An S-shaped ancient road made of bluestone runs through the whole village. The village is round, facing south and north, and is built on the mountain, forming a distinctive architectural style. Its representative buildings include Yang Family Courtyard, Wengmen, and Niangniang Temple Wait. The Yang Family Courtyard is located in Shuiyuxi Mountain. It was built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The main building is based on the northern style. It is made of stone, and the pattern is four in and four out. A Qing Dynasty style stone drum stands on both sides. Wengmen refers to the bridge hole of Dongweng Bridge in the village. There is a white stone carved on it and the word "Ningshui" on the stone, which means that Wengqiao is used to flush water and relieve floods. In addition, the village is also a folk culture tourism village named by the Beijing Municipal Tourism Bureau. This year, in order to develop the tourism economy, the village invested more than 500,000 yuan and placed 128 stone rollers in the village, reproducing the ancient folk culture of the mountain village.
