    10K Trail was wonderful

    Snowshoeing in the Sandia's

    I snowshoed the 10K Trail today from the trailhead parking lot to where the trail intersects the Ellis Trail and back. Good snow and great weather.

    Hike unfortunately cut short

    Was in the middle of a fun, easy hike on Sandia Crest trail in May when an unexpected hail storm began. Had to turn around.

    Good place to get off the desert roads and be near some water and a few trees. Good respite from heat.
