Worth a visit with some hidden gems
Beautiful old town with excellent restaurants, a pleasant square and some unexpected church treasures. If you are coming from Bordighera it requires a bit of a climb.
Historic but a bit grim
Small historic centre with very narrow streets and alleyways. Not much of architectural interest and lacks the romantic charm of many other medieval towns. Worth a look if in the area but not worth a...

After the San Ampelio chapel, go to the port, cross the road and climb.in the pine that will lead you pleasantly to the old Bordighera.
