Calais Lighthouse

Calais is the city and main ferry port in the Calais Strait Province (Pas-de-Calais) in northern France. Calais overlooks the Strait of Dover, the narrowest part of the English Channel, and the port of Calais is the largest passenger hub in France. It accounts for more than one-third of the economic activity in the town of Calais. The Calais lighthouse was built in 1848, replacing the original 13th century watchtower.

Here, looking at the beauty, this tower is the work of Louis XIII, tall and majestic, exquisite structure, so many years have passed, still standing in the square. There are also famous sculptures of Charles de Gaulle and his wife, who, by the way, is Calais.

瞭望塔位于武器广场，建于十三世纪。是一座充满沧桑感的历史建筑。1848年以前用作加来港的灯塔。从火车站步行25分钟可以到达。
