    Great pike path well maintained along the irrigation cannel.

    Great way to get out on a good sized path with lots of room always busy around chestermere but nice and wide path lots of mosquitos so bring bug spray.

    Not a well-known fact, but there's a canal that starts opposite the Sam Livingstone Fish Hatchery in downtown Calgary, and winds its way through south east Calgary, then heads east to Chestermere Lake...
