Beautiful Peaceful Friendly
Beautiful paved walk on the edge of town. Perfect for the morning walk before coffee. The trees were gorgeous in late Oct and the views of the lake were worth a stop and stare.
Great biking path!
Wonderful bike/hike path just under 4 miles long. Good parking at the trail head. Around miners lake, through the woods. We loved it so much we biked it twice!
Nice paved trail but basically a forest trail
A nice easy walk with a couple views of the lake but mostly views of the forest and some of the old mining buildings. Close to town is a big plus. Great parking as well. Just not very scenic. It m...
A refreshing and serene walk
This was a great way to begin our stay in Ely. A beautiful four mile walk. You will not see the lake much but there are a couple of stunning lookout spots. Paved most of the way.
Lovely snowshoe area
A nice area to snowshoe in town. Not a lot of lake views but still scenic. Came across snowmobilers and xc skiers too.
