Serene beauty
This glacier-fed lake is lovely. The drive on each side is a must. Lots to see along the way and picnic areas and short hikes.

The road is good all around the lake. A nice campground with a friendly warden is near the south end of the lake on the east side.
scenic route
this is the third biggest lake of the whole country; drive along the scenic route and you won't be disappointed at any time of the year.
