Great place to enjoy the outdoors
Great views of Fort Collins and the foothills. Lots of single walkers and joggers, families and folks with dogs. Mostly flat but a few easy inclines.
Pleasant when it's not too busy
Pineridge is a nice open space right on the edge of town. As such, it can get busy. There are other far more interesting places just a little further out, so this one didn't hold my interest for long.
Bird watching for all levels
I visited this place with a friend. We went at 7 am and saw many different kinds of birds around the lake. It's relaxing and fun and is free to park. Bathrooms near the parking site.
Great close hiking and biking area.
The trails loop around the lake and link to other trails in the area. Lots oF choices for biking hiking and running. Also can go on the lake w a small boat. Views are fair
Great place for birdwatching & seeing prairie dogs
Start out early to see lots of birds. I saw several here that I had not seen before including western meadowlarks and bullock orioles. Also saw prairie dogs and rabbits. Make sure if you are going to...
