Located on the hillside of Mt. Keiba in the south of Mt. Benten on the outskirts of Fukushima City, there is a parking lot when you enter the mountain side from National Highway 114 / Kawamata Highway. You can see weeping cherry blossoms and CHIGO cherry blossoms in the precincts in spring. There was a big straw shoe here.
Okuraji Temple, the first temple of Shindatsu 33 Kannon Sacred Ground, is a temple of the Rinzai sect Myoshinji school. Located on the hillside of Mt. Kokura, it is a temple famous for Senju Kannon (national important cultural property). The large (long) straw shoes in the precincts are eye-catching.
