Why don't you step through the mysterious battle of Mikatahara with your own feet?

    Original Text

Although it is an old battlefield that is famous enough to appear in textbooks, in fact, Mikatahara is a large plateau, and the record at that time is not clear, so there is no clear old battlefield trace as "here!". It's lonely for a battle between big names called Shingen Takeda vs. Ieyasu Tokugawa. This place is one of the main 3 identified places. Personally, I think this area is definitely an old battlefield, but there is no definitive evidence ...

It's just a stone monument and a guide board, but you can't remove it.

On the way from Lake Hamana to Iitani, a stone monument stands quietly facing the main road. I was late to notice it for a moment and I just passed by. .. .. There is a parking lot in the graveyard, and you can see it slowly (although only the stone monument).

It seems that the battle between Ieyasu Tokugawa and Shingen Takeda was fought in the Mikatahara area during the Sengoku period. I don't know where and what kind of battle was fought, but the monument of the old battlefield is visible to the left side of the slope of Hokuda when heading north on Route 257 from the direction of Hamamatsu. The back is Mikatahara Cemetery and there is plenty of parking lot. There are many places related to Naotora II around, so I think it's a good idea to go and see it once.

It is the Mikatahara Kobattlefield, which is also the place where Ieyasu Tokugawa and Shingen Takeda fought fiercely. I think this is the only place that can be seen in such a fierce battle. This stone monument is located in a corner of Mikatahara Cemetery in Hamamatsu City along National Highway 257. I think it's a good idea to park your car in the parking lot of the cemetery and visit the stone monument.

The place where Ieyasu Tokugawa suffered a great defeat to Shingen Takeda. A monument to the old battlefield is erected in a corner of the Mikatahara Plateau, but it is unknown except that the place where the battle was fought is the Mikatahara Plateau, so it seems that it means this area. There is only a stone monument. The parking lot is a fairly large graveyard. I think that transportation can be reached by bus by transportation, but it is not recommended as a place to say only for this. But ... at that time
