Lovely fairy tale hike
Beautiful trail, feels like a fairy tale forest. Covered in moss and smells so fresh. The hike itself on Holmes Peak trail isn’t too difficult, but it does get the heart pumping and a little sweat on....
We did the McKenzie Bight and Cascade Falls trail. It was quite steep going down to the lake and then we went up toward the falls. Except right now there are no falls or water anywhere on the trail....

Very good hike....little bit long because you have to walk for 10km but the landscape on the lake,the mountains in the sourround and the view is wanderfull...not very busy hike even in august
