Walking 90,000 steps in four days, I toured the old city of Hong Kong
Here are some of the most worthwhile old streets for leisurely strolls.
1️⃣, Chun Yang Street in North Point: You can take a tram around half of the city for three dollars. I saw an old man desperately riding a bicycle, delivering food between two cars. From the second floor of the tram, you can see Hong Kong from a different perspective, overlooking the streets and shops under the scorching sun.
2️⃣, Rainbow Village: Despite its dense and minor adjustments, it has color, making everything dull and boring become brilliant, with some small details, some color, and maintaining cleanliness.
3️⃣, The S-shaped slope of the police station on the mountain road in the western district of Xin Pan Road: From the overpass, you can take pictures of the church at the end of Hong Kong. Here you can see the complexity of Hong Kong's terrain.
4️⃣, Scorpio Wheel: This is Hong Kong's sea sunset ferry. When it comes from the port, it is retro green. When sitting by the window, it is silver. When it is close to the shore, it is the golden light of the lake.
5️⃣, A literary street by the sea next to the Star Sea in Kennedy Town: Because of this sign, the street and the seaside are a bit like Japan.
6️⃣, Goldfish Street: A whole street of goldfish shops near Mong Kok, with transparent plastic bags filled with air and water, and prices written out, a row of goldfish buying, is a microcosm of Hong Kong's love for life.
7️⃣, Mong Kok Bus Terminal: The small terminal on Tung Choi Street in Mong Kok will start to compete in the evening. All the small ones will stop next to the vegetable market. Although it is crowded, it also makes the street look cute.
8️⃣, Victoria Harbour: The prosperous night of sunrise and sunset, this place that represents the pride of Hong Kong, this night with the style of an international city, can truly represent the night of Hong Kong. From these ten old streets, I saw that Hong Kong has retained the congestion, refinement, speed, rhythm, and nostalgia of a city.
lovely neighborhood and beautiful buildings, can be a little hard to navigate to the basketball court which is the photo taking area but people are kind enough to help you!
Had a chance to visit this estate.Choi Hung Estate is well known by traveler as the most iconic building in Hong KongI felt so amazed with this rainbow-colored building which make this interestingto take a picture. This estate is highly recommended for you to make a content for your social media
It feels like it's in a scene in the animation.. It's a pity that the color changes a lot compared to the photos, but it's romantic enough.. However, it is a place where residents live, so visit quietly~
Rainbow is one of the early public housing estates built in Hong Kong, covering more than 5.1 hectares.[2] It is located in Ngau Chi Wan, Wong Tai Sin District, Kowloon. It was developed by the Hong Kong Buildings Construction Commission and designed by Bama Dana Architects and Engineers Limited.[3] It incorporates elements of Bauhaus style.[4] Because of its unique design, Rainbow won the first Hong Kong Architecture Award, the highest honor of the year Silver Medal of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects in 1965. It is currently managed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority.
Looking up at the pink and tender color that has been staying on the skyline, softly as if with a smile, sweet residents and foreign tourists inside, the beauty of "rainbow " (Choi Hung Estate) lies in the crowded residential style to retain a beautiful public space and the artificial rainbow on the exterior wall of the building complex. Like a PANTONE ticket in a dull and simple building, it seems that the fast pace of life and the denseness of the cement jungle can be temporarily forgotten. No matter what sunny or rainy days, just walk on the court to get a sweet rainbow.
