this place is a must wee when in Belgium,
So may young men, died and suffered. It is no wonder that there are places where we can go and thank them, even though we cannot see them, their names are their memorial

Yet another of the cemeteries scattered round the Ypres Salient. It truly makes you think about all the sacrifices and constant state of war and death at the time. Beautifully maintained.

Both the poets Hedd Wynne and Francis Ledwidge are buried here, and fittingly there are Irish and Welsh war commemorations very nearby. As with all of the CWGC cemeteries, this is very well kept, tidy...
