Watarase Nature Museum is an information center on the Gunma Prefecture side of the vast Watarase Recreation Area that spans Gunma Prefecture, Tochigi Prefecture, Ibaraki Prefecture, and Saitama Prefecture. It is operated by Itakura Town and admission is free. The atmosphere is very good because the Otani stone rice brewery is being renovated and used. There was a lounge, a multipurpose room, and an exhibition room in the hall. In the lounge, there were tourist pamphlets in Watarase Recreation Area and Itakura Town.
