Great place to spend a morning or afternoon!
This is a fantastic museum, featuring easy-to-understand exhibits and wonderful tour guides, as well as phenomenal views of the cranes in a protected natural environment. Highly recommended!
The musuem is very well-organized. However all the information is in Japanese. It would have been great if the explanatory notes are in English and other major languages.
There is an observatory overlooking Izumi City. Before going to observe the crane, if you learn here and then go, your view will change. Maybe you can think deeply not only about seeing things, but also about things? There are also plenty of crane transformation kits, so you can take good commemorative photos. Where are you going without visiting Izumi City and coming here! ?? (laughter)
If you have time, you will study the ecology of crane.

As a facility limited to almost cranes, it is a large site in a magnificent building. I like these kinds of museums and museums, zoos, etc., but I felt a sense of redundancy if the content was limited to the crane's friends. It is also a drawback that it is a little far from the land of the crane and the observation center. Adjacent facilities have synergies.
Crane Museum! The children were also happy to move around. Various kinds of stuffed cranes and photos are displayed. The playset was also outside and the children were enjoying it.
