Beautiful statue
The chronicles say that Wesugi Kenshin was a very beautiful man. Finally, I see it in his image. A statue right next to the Joetsu Meko Station. Enjoy it!
It's in front of Joetsu Myoko Station.
It is quietly located in front of Joetsu Myoko Station. It was in a place that I would overlook if I wasn't particularly interested. It may be good for those who like history.

You can see it as soon as you exit the east exit in front of JR Joetsu Myoko Station and look south. It is a horse riding figure of Kenshin Uesugi. He is a famous military commander all over Japan.
The beetle stands out.
It is a statue of Kenshin Uesugi at Joetsu Myoko Station. I think Kenshin Uesugi has a strong image of a Buddhist monk, but this statue is rather like a normal samurai. Since he is still a mysterious military commander, he may be expressed in various ways. The statue here is characterized by the golden kabuto and stands out.
Qianxin before Shangyue Miao Gao
There is a statue of Kenshin Uesugi in front of Joetsu Myoko Station. It's enshrined on the east side of the station, but I didn't know this itself. Kenshin on a horse, why don't you take a look at it once.
