Good Family Fun!
This beach during actual beach season gets cleaned regularly and thanks to natural rock barriers the waves are very mild and make for easy swimming. It is usually packed with families on the weekends....
This beach is not for surfers since waves are pretty weak there. It's more appropriate for a quick swim. The setup is nice but the environment is nicer on some other beaches such as Tainohama further ...
It is a beautiful beach. When I put on a mask and snorkel, fish were swimming in the rocky area, although it was not as good as Okinawa. Free shower, changing room and parking lot are available.
It takes about 2 time from Tokushima city. It's far but the sea is very beautiful and worth going. There are few people and all-you-can-play! My nephews enjoyed it very much.
The beach was in front of the private inn where I happened to stay.

It was a guest house about 10 minutes walk from Ayase Station to stay on the Muki Line, but it was Osagi Beach in front of me. It faces the Pacific Ocean, but there is an island offshore, so it seems that the waves are erased. It was a very quiet sandy beach. There seems to be a campsite, but it seems that few people still use it at this time of year.
