It seemed to be within walking distance from Kitami Station. I was able to confirm it at the connecting bus window from Memanbetsu Airport, and then visited. There is also a bus stop at the torii gate on the national highway side, and you can use the fixed-route bus as long as the time is right. When I went up the stone steps and went up to the precincts, I saw a large hall of worship. Grace, even if you don't use the stone steps, you can proceed to the precincts from another approach, and some riders worshiped on motorcycles.

A shrine located about ２〜 3 km from Kitami Station toward Abashiri along National Highway 39. When the New Year comes, it will be the largest first visit place for Kitami citizens. I don't think it's a tourist spot, but it's definitely worth visiting for worship purposes.

Visited Kitami City for the first time on a trip. Around, full of snow ☃️. 15 minutes walk from the station, the snowy road is slick. In Hokkaido, the history of temples and shrines is shallow and there are few shrines, but it was a splendid shrine. You can also get a red stamp. The snow and ice columns were amazing!
