There is a gate pillar on the east side opposite Shomeiji Temple in Urateramachi-dori and Yakushi Shimoru. It is blocked by a tall gate and cannot be seen inside. You can only see the roof of a building that looks like the main hall. It is a temple of the Jodo sect.
It is a temple on Urateramachi-dori. When I visited, the gate was closed and I'm not sure what kind of temple it was, but it's a temple with a modern atmosphere. I wondered what kind of sect it was.
