The cathedral is located on the peak of the Limburg Mountains on the Lahn River and can be seen within a dozen kilometers of the cathedral with seven spire towers, especially on one of Germany's busiest roads connecting Frankfurt and Cologne. You can see this magnificent church on the mountain. In 1985, Deutsche Post published a commemorative stamp of Limburg Cathedral, selling a total of 1100 million pieces, not only that, West Germany's largest face value of 1,000 marks (the equivalent of 500 euros now), on the third edition, printed with the image of Limburg Cathedral. We made a special trip to Limburg Cathedral on the last day of the full closure of the city in Germany. It was windy and cold. It was more than 4 pm, and the sun warmed the corners through the church window, bringing a sense of closeness and peace to the empty church. Going to church is a part of life for many Germans. Whether religious or not, marriage and children will go to the church to do a blessing ceremony. The epidemic has cancelled or delayed various ceremonies, and the travel photography records this scene. I hope it is once only in lifetime.
