I highly recommend to visit the monastery. Very peacefully, very beautiful, very clean. Don’t miss to see also the nearby sculptures

If your route pass by Ciolanu Monastery it worth to stop and visit the location. It's a beautiful monastery from XVI century.
Beautiful
We stopped there in the morning. We didn’t meet anybody. The church was closed but we could go on the monastery site. A very quiet, restful and beautiful place.
Monastry near forest
Quiet place on the road 203G from Măgura to Haleș. The orthodox church has been built in 1828. Large and green place, where is good to stay for one or more hours. Nice view looking from terrance.
In the middle of nature
One of the main attraction in the area, very close to "Tabăra de sculptura". Many parking places just in front of it. Very large yard where you can relax sitting on the grass. It is a good place to re...
